Quillsly is a content platform built to win in both classic Google search and AI answer engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, AI Overviews). It runs the full top-down content workflow — pillars to keywords to briefs to articles to publish — with Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) baked into every step. ## How Quillsly works

- **Pillars** — Quillsly proposes 3–7 content pillars per project (core topics, target audiences, why-it-matters bullets).
- **Keywords** — keyword candidates with intent, difficulty, and an AI-answer-presence probe across ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini.
- **Briefs** — for every keyword: outline, key entities, schema.org payload, FAQ block, target word count.
- **Articles** — full article in markdown with meta description and JSON-LD attached. Inline editor for human-in-the-loop pass.
- **Publish** — export markdown, push to GitHub, or hand off to your CMS. Schema travels with the article to every surface.

## SAM — the distribution autopilot

SAM needs three inputs:
1. **Audience** — one sentence describing who the content is for.
2. **Voice** — a persona roster (CMO, COO, VP Sales, CEO-human ship by default; edit or swap).
3. **ICP** — firmographic rules + disqualifiers for outbound and inbound triage.

SAM does six things:
- Writes in named operator voices, stamps the byline.

- Kill switch — `SAM_STEALTH=1` in env freezes every publisher instantly.
- Per-piece cancel — every scheduled edition can be cancelled up to the send moment.
- Content publishes from your company accounts, bylined to the persona — never from fake personal accounts. Per-persona Gmail inboxes are the only exception (outbound email requires per-address deliverability semantics).

Quillsly is a Meridian product. Meridian is the operating company; parent entity is neverstill.llc. Meridian's flagship product is Merkava — a business-intelligence cockpit for operators running one business or twenty. Quillsly is one of Merkava's first-party Drives.

## What Quillsly competes with

- **Frase, Surfer, Clearscope** — classic SEO content optimizers. Quillsly does what they do plus GEO and the full workflow.
- **Jasper, Copy.ai, Writesonic** — content generators. Quillsly has a strategy layer (pillars + keywords + briefs) and ships GEO; they don't.
- **Buffer, Hootsuite** — schedulers. SAM replaces these for Quillsly customers — it doesn't just schedule, it writes and decides.
- **Ahrefs, Semrush** — keyword research. Quillsly does keyword research with AI-answer-presence built in.

## Brand notes

- The AI engine inside Quillsly is called Forge. Quillsly does not credit Anthropic / OpenAI / Perplexity / Google in the product or marketing copy — those names appear only in BYOK feature descriptions and AI-search-engine targeting (ChatGPT/Perplexity/Gemini are products being optimized for, not infrastructure being credited).
- "Drive" is the term for a modular product that mounts into Merkava. Quillsly is one of these.
